Understanding 25S Models
S-Auto (Bilevel)
S AUTO MODE combines the features of S Mode and automatic adjustment of pressure based on the patient's breathing patterns. This mode allows for more natural breathing and adapts to the patient's changing respiratory needs throughout the night. It is commonly used in patients with complex respiratory conditions or those who require more flexibility in their therapy.
S (Bilevel)
The device constantly provides the preset inspiratory and expiratory pressure at the frequency of the patient's breathing. This mode allows the patient to breathe at their own pace, with the ventilator providing support when needed. It is commonly used in patients with respiratory failure or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) who have some ability to breathe on their own but may require assistance.
CPAP
CPAP Mode is a continuous positive airway pressure therapy that delivers a constant level of pressure to keep the airways open. It provides a single fixed pressure setting throughout the night .This mode is commonly used to treat obstructive sleep apnea and other breathing disorders.
